Your e-commerce agency for China!

Do you want to sell your products on the Chinese market? Then you need e-commerce in China!

“Nobody shops offline anymore,” says a Chinese businessman. “Customers mainly buy through smartphones.” Having an online store and promoting products online is currently the most common business strategy in China. In 2019, online retail sales grew to $1.5 trillion, accounting for a quarter of China’s total retail sales and more than the retail sales of the world’s 10 next largest markets combined – markets like the U.S., U.K., Korea and so on.

If you run your business online, it’s a great opportunity to succeed in China. But how? There are several ways to start your e-commerce store:

  • The most common way is to set up store on cross-border e-commerce platforms, such as Tmall Global, JD Worldwide and Netease Kaola, which source their own inventory directly from international brands and store it in bonded warehouses closer to China. Over the past four years, Tmall Global has introduced nearly 19,000 overseas brands from 75 countries to Chinese consumers.
  • Another option is to own a local e-shop. Local payment methods, such as WeChat and Alipay, make it difficult for foreign companies to enter here. However, implementing local habits of Chinese consumers is worth the effort. They will benefit from higher brand awareness and strong customer loyalty in the long run.

In addition to well-known B2C e-commerce platforms, B2B companies also do business online. Different industries each have different trading platforms. For example, Made-in-China focuses on the apparel, handicraft, automotive, and automation industries.
